The Best Is Yet to Come

🌅 Chapter 30: The Best Is Yet to Come

Book One: Finding Hope

When I began writing Finding Hope, I knew the message I wanted to share, but I didn't know exactly what the journey would look like.

I simply started.

One chapter became two.

Two became five.

Five became ten.

And slowly, one small step at a time, we arrived here.

Along the way, I learned something that I want to carry with me long after this book is finished:

Consistency can take you places that motivation alone cannot.

There were days when writing came easily.

There were also days when I didn't feel like doing anything.

Days when I felt tired.

Days when other responsibilities needed my attention.

Days when it would have been easy to tell myself:

"I'll do it another time."

But I kept coming back.

Sometimes I did a lot.

Sometimes I did something small.

But I kept showing up.

And now, looking back at thirty chapters, I realise that this book wasn't created in one big moment of inspiration.

It was created one small, consistent step at a time.

Maybe life works that way too.

🌿 Keep Showing Up for Your Life

We often wait until we feel motivated before we begin.

We tell ourselves:

"I'll start when I feel ready."

"I'll try again when I have more confidence."

"I'll work on my dream when life becomes less busy."

But sometimes that perfect moment never arrives.

I've learned that you don't always have to feel ready.

Sometimes you simply have to show up.

Show up for your dreams.

Show up for your healing.

Show up for your health.

Show up for the people you love.

Show up for the things that matter to you.

And most importantly:

Show up for yourself.

You don't have to do everything at once.

You don't have to be perfect.

You don't have to make enormous progress every day.

Just keep returning to the life you're trying to build.

🌱 Small Steps Really Do Add Up

Earlier in this book, we talked about how small steps still count.

Now, thirty chapters later, I understand that message even more deeply.

A small step may not look impressive today.

But repeated over time, small steps can become something extraordinary.

One page can become a chapter.

One chapter can become a book.

One application can become an opportunity.

One new habit can change your life.

One decision to try again can take you somewhere you never expected.

Never underestimate what can happen when you keep taking small steps in the same direction.

You may not notice the change while it's happening.

But one day you'll look back and realise:

"I've come so much further than I thought."

💚 You Don't Need to Be Perfect to Make Progress

If there's one thing I hope you've learned throughout Finding Hope, it's that your journey doesn't have to be perfect to be meaningful.

You will have good days.

You will have difficult days.

Sometimes you'll move forward quickly.

Sometimes you'll slow down.

Sometimes you'll need to rest.

And sometimes you'll have to start again.

None of those things mean you've failed.

They simply mean you're human.

Rest when you need to.

Learn when you make mistakes.

Change direction when something no longer feels right.

But when something truly matters to you, don't give up simply because the journey becomes difficult.

Keep showing up.

🌸 Look How Far You've Come

Before we move forward, I want you to do something we don't do often enough.

Look back.

Not to regret the past.

Not to replay your mistakes.

But to recognise your progress.

Think about everything you've survived.

Think about what you've learned.

Think about the things that once frightened you that you now know how to handle.

Think about the person you were when you started your own journey.

You're still becoming.

You're still learning.

But you're not standing where you started.

Give yourself credit for that.

☀️ Hope Was Never About Having All the Answers

When we began Finding Hope, we talked about better days.

We talked about taking small steps.

We talked about being gentle with ourselves.

We learned about rest, healing, courage, starting again, trusting the journey, and choosing hope even when life feels uncertain.

And perhaps now we understand something important:

Hope doesn't mean knowing exactly how your story will end.

Hope means believing your story is still worth continuing.

You don't need to know what the next five years will look like.

You don't even need to know exactly what next month will bring.

You just need enough courage for the next step.

And when tomorrow arrives, take another.

🌅 The Best Is Yet to Come

Maybe you're reading this while standing at the beginning of something new.

Maybe you're rebuilding after disappointment.

Maybe you're waiting for an opportunity.

Maybe you're trying to heal.

Maybe you're working toward a dream that still feels far away.

Or maybe you simply don't know what comes next.

That's okay.

There are still chapters of your life you haven't lived yet.

There are people you haven't met.

Places you haven't seen.

Things you haven't learned.

Opportunities you haven't discovered.

Dreams you haven't achieved.

There are ordinary mornings that will become beautiful memories.

There is laughter you haven't laughed yet.

There are moments of peace you haven't experienced.

And there may be possibilities ahead that you cannot even imagine from where you're standing today.

So don't allow one difficult season to convince you that your best days are behind you.

Keep going.

Your story is still unfolding.

🌷 Today's Final Reflection

As we close Finding Hope, take a quiet moment and ask yourself:

What has this season of my life taught me?

Then ask:

What do I want to carry with me into my next chapter?

Maybe your answer is courage.

Maybe it's patience.

Maybe it's self-belief.

Maybe it's consistency.

Maybe it's peace.

Maybe it's simply:

Hope.

Whatever it is, carry it with you.

💚 Our Final Affirmation

“I am proud of how far I have come. I trust the journey ahead. I will keep showing up, keep growing, and keep choosing hope. My story is still being written, and I believe the best is yet to come.”

🌿 Before You Close This Book...

If you've read Finding Hope from the beginning, thank you.

Thank you for allowing these words to be part of your journey.

I hope somewhere within these thirty chapters you found a sentence that encouraged you on a difficult day.

I hope you found permission to rest.

I hope you learned to be a little gentler with yourself.

I hope you remembered that small steps still count.

I hope you discovered the courage to begin again.

And above all, I hope you found hope.

But there's one final thing I want you to remember.

You don't have to leave hope inside the pages of this book.

Take it with you.

Carry it into your mornings.

Carry it into your difficult days.

Carry it into your dreams.

Carry it into your next beginning.

And whenever life becomes difficult, remind yourself:

I have made it through difficult days before.

I can take one more step.

I can begin again.

I can choose hope.

💚 This Is Not the End

This may be the final chapter of Finding Hope...

but it isn't the final chapter of your story.

And it isn't the final chapter of mine either.

There is still more to learn.

More growing to do.

More dreams to pursue.

More people to encourage.

More life to experience.

So instead of saying goodbye, I'll simply say:

Keep going.

Keep showing up.

Keep believing.

Keep choosing hope.

And wherever your journey takes you next, remember...

🌅 The Best Is Yet to Come.

With hope,
Maureen
